If you live in Cambridgeshire and you need to register with the police (an essential part of many foreign nationals’ visa conditions), you need to make an appointment to go to the police station below.

How to make an appointment
You can make your appointment online. Please don't call us or visit without an appointment. Click 'Start' at the bottom of this page to complete our quick and simple online form.
Please note, it costs £34 to register. We'll send you a secure link to pay online when we confirm your appointment. If you can't pay by card, please contact us and we'll arrange an alternative way of paying.

When to attend
You must visit Parkside Police Station to register and get your police registration certificate (PRC) within seven days of arriving in the UK. This is important, because if you don't you may face:
- a £5,000 fine
- a prison sentence
- recommendation of deportation
- a ten-year ban on entering the UK
We'll give you your PRC after you complete registration.

When your details change
If you change any of your personal or contact details while studying or working in Cambridgeshire, or if you lose or damage your PCR, you'll need to make an appointment with us to update your certificate or get a new one; click 'Start' at the bottom of this page.
